The Zenit is an old Russian manual 35mm camera that was handed down to me by grandfather. It has instilled a passion for photography that has grown ever since. I've travelled through some incredible countries, such as Russia, Japan and Mongolia, and have used the Zenit to capture as much of them as possible. The books cover a tribute to the camera itself, and my emotional attachment to the permanence of the bulky, clunky, industrial Soviet design aesthetic, as opposed to the cheap, disposable nature of the electronic products of western consumerism.
